What do you recommend before starting treatment?
Before starting, patients should already be exercising and following a diet: cardio exercises to burn calories and a low-carbohydrate diet.
Are there cases where it is not recommended?
Yes. If the patient has had pancreatitis, thyroid disease such as thyroid masses, or gastroparesis. The patient must be thoroughly evaluated and assessed.
